Charlotte's GROW hydroponic towers cultivate a fresh experience for the campus community. The leafy greens and herbs are harvested for consumption at the dining halls — just steps away from where they were grown!
Starting in 2018, these towers have grown over 170 pounds of leafy greens and herbs.
The greens grown in-house are used in teaching kitchens and the dining halls!
The GROW hydroponic towers are stationed at the entrance of SoVi Dining Hall.
