Meal plans make eating on campus a breeze! With two all-you-care-to-eat dining halls and more than twenty retail dining locations – including popular national brands – it’s easy to get all your dining needs right here on campus.

First-Year Resident Plans
First-year students living on campus can choose any daily meal plan.

Upperclass Required Housing Plans
Students living in traditional or suite-style units in residence halls may choose a block plan or daily plan.

Upperclass Non-Required Housing Plans
Students living in apartment-style units in residence halls have the option to support their cooking with any meal plan.

Summer Session 1 (May 18 to June 24)

Friday, May 15, 2026Meal plans go live
Monday, May 18, 2026First day of dining hall meal service
Friday, May 22, 2026Deadline to change or cancel a meal plan
Wednesday, June 24, 2026Last day to use meals from Summer Session 1
Friday, Aug. 7, 2026DB funds expire for the academic year

Dining Closures

Summer

Friday, July 3, 2026Fourth of July observed (University closed). All residential and retail dining closed.
Saturday, July 4, 2026Independence Day — all dining halls closed
Thursday, June 25, 2026 through Sunday, June 28, 2026Break between summer sessions. Meals cannot be used in the residential dining halls.

Students on campus for one or both summer terms may choose from the available meal plans.

What's in a meal plan?

Navigating meal plans can be stressful if you don't know what's included. By understanding your options, you'll be able to decide what works best for you!

Meals
Meals are used to enter the dining halls. Options include daily and block plans.
Declining Balance
Declining Balance (DB) funds are used to purchase food at retail dining locations.
Guest Meals
Guest meals allow students to bring guests into the dining halls.
