Nut Allergies

Peanuts and tree nuts are never ingredients in our dining hall menus. However, dining hall sandwich-making stations offer individual packets of peanut butter and hazelnut spread, and bakery items made off-campus may be processed in facilities that handle peanuts or tree nuts.

Delicious without station

For those avoiding the top nine allergens, our Delicious Without station offers meals made without allergens, crafted in a dedicated area to reduce cross-contact risk.

Other allergies

Notify the Dining Services team about your food allergies, schedule a meeting for a personalized plan, ask if unsure about ingredients in a dish and recognize your signs of an allergic reaction.

Vegan & Vegetarian

We offer a variety of plant-based, vegetarian and vegan options during every meal period in both dining halls that are clearly marked with “V” for Vegan or “VG” for Vegetarian.

Avoiding Gluten

Dining guests can take advantage of the Delicious Without Station, which avoids the top nine allergens, including gluten and wheat. Other options include the Avoiding Gluten Pantry for breads, the SoVi avoiding-gluten hearth for pasta and pizza dishes and Social 704 grill‘s avoiding-gluten bun options.

Pre-packaged desserts without gluten are also available upon request at both dining halls. Although precautions are taken, please note that we are not a certified gluten-free facility.

Halal Options

All non-breaded chicken served in Social 704 and SoVi dining halls is considered halal-certified. The Halal Shack in Upper Prospector also offers tasty bowls and wraps, all made with halal ingredients.
